1 box (3 oz) flavored Jello (any flavor)
1 cup granulated sugar
2 tbsp unflavored gelatin
1/2 cup light corn syrup
1/2 cup water
(Optional) 1 tsp citric acid (for tang)
(Optional) 1 tbsp powdered milk or coconut oil (for creaminess)
Mix dry ingredients: In a bowl, combine Jello powder, unflavored gelatin, and sugar.
Add wet ingredients: Pour in water and corn syrup. Stir to combine.
Cook mixture: Pour into a saucepan and heat over medium-low heat. Stir constantly.
Bring to temperature: Cook until the mixture reaches about 230°F (use a candy thermometer).
Pour into molds: Remove from heat. Pour into silicone molds or spread onto parchment paper.
