4 medium Granny Smith or Gala apples
2 cups granulated sugar
¾ cup water
½ cup light corn syrup
½ tsp white food coloring (gel or liquid)
½ tsp vanilla extract (optional)
Edible white glitter or sanding sugar (for garnish)
Wooden skewers or lollipop sticks
Non-stick spray or butter (for parchment)
Prepare Apples
Wash apples in hot water to remove any wax. Dry completely and insert skewers.
Make Candy Coating
