2 ½ cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking powder
½ teaspoon baking soda
½ teaspoon salt
1 cup unsalted butter, softened
1 ¼ cups granulated sugar
1 large egg
2 teaspoons vanilla extract
1 teaspoon cotton candy flavoring (like LorAnn)
Pink and blue gel food coloring
Optional: white chocolate chips, cotton candy sugar, or sprinkles
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy (2–3 minutes).
Add egg, vanilla, and cotton candy extract. Mix well.
Slowly add dry ingredients. Mix just until combined.
Divide dough into two bowls. Add pink coloring to one, blue to the other.
Roll one spoon of each color together into a ball. Swirl gently.
